WS is for working simple.

Edit: I just released WorkSimple beta 2 here http://geekness.eu/node/22

I still haven't set on a data structure yet. I have code to:
1. Have one master file (almost a database) and store all of the posts
or 2.Have seperate files (according named 1.txt, 2.txt etc....)

I would think that one file (1) would be the easiest to manage too. I'll wrap this version of WS up and upload it.

XNOZOMFSG!!!!1!!!

Just installed Ubuntu Eee 8.04 on my 701 4GB Eee. Simply amazing. Oh wait a sec, I had a whole buncha pictures that I forgot to back up....oh well. Ubuntu on the go, just awesome.
More to come

Charcoal

I just released WS Beta 1 (named Charcoal) available here: http://2500mhz.info/node/22
There is also a how-to install tutorial and a tips page too.

I shall be working on WS Beta 2 (Or at least a stable release) tonight so check back later on....

Qua, Qua, Qua....

...d monitors. Whipped down to Staples and picked up another 19" widescreen monitor, so now that makes three (3) 19" widescreen (LCD) monitors and one (1) 19" CRT (All on one computer = quad monitors). The new one is a HP w1907 with VGA and DVI, and surprisingly it has speakers (which I didn't find out till I got home). More to come.....

PostgreSQL

I finally think I'm going to learn PostgreSQL as this current webhost (4fd.us) supports it (thanks to mknjhill) and also has phpPgAdmin.
I got some energy drinks and some 6-hour energy pills so I think I'll be good tonight and hopefully get some work done.

CMS In Progression

I'm writing the installer for the CMS which I am making (which I also need a name for). It's going to use JAB, AdAd and the same login system used for Web Host. EDIT: You can see (and use) a beta example of this CMS here
More details to come.

"I hear ya', but can ya' C?"

I figured I should go all out, so I bought another GB of RAM, the Razer Diamondback mouse (http://www.razerzone.com/p-62-razer-diamondback-3g-gaming-mouse.aspx) and a headset (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/webcam_communications/internet_headset...) and with the G15 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3498&cl=us,en) this is becoming quite the awesome setup. All I need now is a kickass computer. With all this gaming gear, I feel like the geeky coding side of me has left me. Its quite sad.

Flying Monkeys!

Went down to Futureshop today and bought the Logitech G15 2nd Ed keyboard. I'm using my Asus EEE so I can't exactly use the software. Other than that, I love it.

I haven't been able to work on anything at all, since I'm not at home right now, and I just don't feel up to it.

Once I get home Saturday night I'll be back to my geek lair, coding away on my G15

Back to hell...

I guess my arm is getting better so that means I'll be heading to work tomorrow. Ah, I love work, waking up at 7 am, biking in the crisp of the morning. Not! Overmorrow is payday, I'm just that much more closer to the Logitech G15 2nd Edition keyboard, the mother of all keyboards. Mostly made for gamers, this beauty will allow me to type in the dark (which I already can do) with backlight keys and it has a wee LCD screen too!

I haven't gotten anything done, although I worked on Web Host a little more, and added some new graphics.

Whoops.....

So, while I was biking to work, I took a good crash. Anyways, long story short, my left arm is in a sling and I can't move it that well. Although, I do get a day or two off from work....

I plan to either catch up on some coding, such as EngX(the search engine), Web Host (free webhosting script) or Jab (free blog), or just relax....I'll decide later....
