(Last two ;) )

Ethanol

Well, I'm in need of some organization and focal point of WorkSimple. So, I'm thinking of renaming the WorkSimple project to 'Lumber'. Don't know why, don't really care. I'm off to play some Spore (yay!) but I'll work on Lumber (or uhhh LM) later.

Xbox 360 Sent (Sending!)

Well I just got off the phone with Xbox 360 support. I got all the info and I'm sending my 360 out probably tomorrow (Yes, I have the Red Ring of DEATH!). Apparently I'll be getting it back in a couple days, hopefully not too long. I guess they're putting in the Opus mobo.

Heh, I just Spore [the game] came out on the 2nd so uhhh let's say I'm 'getting it' and 'numerous other movies' ahem.

Back to Hell (week 2)

Well its the 2nd week of school...and it still sucks. Same as usual I guess, its school. All I can say is that school sucks. So does homework.

On the geek side, coding has been at a stand still. Computing hasn't though. I downloaded about 20 distro's yesterday, mostly firewall ones. Since I have 2 [wait, more like 3] unused computers (I use 5 regularly), I felt like transforming one into a firewall/router.

Anywho, I feel like chatting on IRC, so off I go.

Life In Hell

Well I'm back to that thing called school so I'll probably end up not doing as much coding as I do. Although, I did off school early today (camping) so I might work on something. Anywho, I'm off to mess with my EeePC (Which is running BT3) now, and crack the WEP here...again...for fun.

Life with eeeXubuntu.

Well, I finally chose eeeXubuntu. Install was quick and configuring was even easier. After some kernel updates, I did have to recompile the madwifi drivers. I also have to find and compile Ralink drivers, since without them, the other dongle that I use doesn't have monitor mode enabled.
Its pretty minimal right now, I just updated and installed some security/penetration programs.
Anywho, I shall be off (I'm quite tired too)....

New OS?

Well, I've been debating over if I should install a different OS on my Asus EEE. I've tried Ubuntu Eee, Xandros and now Backtrack. I love Ubuntu, so I might try eeeXubuntu, the Xubuntu customized Eee version. The default Xandros is decent, but....no. Backtrack is really cool, but its based on Slackware, so its not exactly user friendly. So I think in the end, I might install Xubuntu, and have Backtrack on a USB jump drive or SD card.
Results to come.

DIY WiFi pop can dish

Anyone use their Nintendo WiFi [USB] connector?
Neither did I, until I found out that I can use it on my Windows machine. Never the less, I inserted it into my Eee (running Backtrack 3) and it worked, instantly. Now, I made my own Pepsi can dish and a LEGO tower. EDIT: I finally booted into Fluxbox :D
